I believe the world is full of endless possibilities and opportunities. I strive to always continue learning new things. This could be as simple as taking my kids on a nature walk or volunteering at different places around the community. I love learning and I love helping people. I hope that one day I can somehow help people with the knowledge I have obtained over time.
I am an avid supporter of early education. I think it is highly important for children from all walks of life to have access to the learning material that is needed for them to learn and progress in their early childhood. For the last 3 years I have volunteered for the Head Start Program in Davis County. Through this experience I have learned so many things about the children, education, as well as myself. These children have a passion to learn new things; they all have such unique personalities and they never seem to hold them back. The children and the parents have a love and appreciation for the program that makes all the hard work absolutely worth it.
I spend lots of time volunteering at the local Elementary School. I have a strong belief that children that have active role models contribute to their learning experience have a much greater chance at loving the learning environment and retaining the information that is being taught. As well as having stronger social skills and values.
Along with education, I also believe physical fitness is of upmost importance. I put many hours into planning, and providing my family with wholesome meals and work with them to stay as active as possible. I am currently a Team Mom for my children's soccer teams and find time to help with their football teams whenever I can. This can be through fundraising, event organizing, communications between the organization, coaches, parents and players, or making banners to show team support. I am on overachiever and always strive to give 110%.
I have a passion for exploring new culture and exploring new places. Therefor, traveling is my favorite hobby. My favorite place that I have been so far is Jamaica. I loved it so much I had to go twice. I have a long list of all the places I want to go. Not so much to vacation but to learn about their culture, their environment and their happiness.
